GITEX GLOBAL, the world’s biggest event for tech, AI, and startups, opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors.
Now in its 45th edition, this year’s show has brought together over 6,800 tech companies, 2,000 startups, 1,200 investors, and representatives from more than 180 countries making it the most dynamic and impactful edition so far.
The event was officially inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness stated: “GITEX GLOBAL has become the world’s leading meeting point for technology pioneers and a hub for building new bridges of communication that open unprecedented horizons for growth and progress.”

Two of the world’s largest events GITEX GLOBAL and Gulfood are taking things to the next level in 2026. Both shows are moving to the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, a next-generation global hub designed for innovation, investment, and transformation.
